The Beast Index is an holistic, functional fitness and movement test categorized by five focus areas: 1) Physical Strength + Endurance, 2) Agility, 3) Mobility, 4) Reaction Time, and 5) Mental Fortitude.
Specifically, The Beast Index consists of 10 exercises that test each of these focus areas, with the results of each test scaled so that no single exercise counts for more than any of the others: there are many ways to be a Beast. These results combined together produces a single Beast Index score on a 200-point scale. The exercises are:
Functional Movement Screen
AMRAP Push-ups (1 min)
AMRAP Pull-ups (1 min)
AMRAP Body Squats (1 min)
Quick Feet (20 s)
Distance Row (1 min @ 5.5 Resistance)
V Sum (3 min)
AMRAP = As Many Reps As Possible
